16mm Feature FRANKENSTEIN (KARLOFF!!!!)

The classic 1931 Universal Pictures release, FRANKENSTEIN, starring Boris Karloff, Colin Clive, John Boles, Mae Clarke, Edward Van Sloan, and Dwight Frye. Directed by the great James Whale!!!  This is a really nice black and white dupe or reduction. It's says Eastman on the print, but I am sure it's not an original Still......a pretty nice print with great contrast and great sound! It is complete and runs 71 minutes.  This is the complete print with very little wear. No VS. This title doesn't pop up very often and has earned it's classic horror status. It made both Boris Karloff and James Whale huge in Hollywood. Whale would go on to direct such horror classics as The Old Dark House, The Invisible Man, and The Bride of Frankenstein.  This print does NOT contain the 'warning' by Edward Van Sloan at the beginning of the film.
