Re-manufactured spool rod will fit any Singer 20 small girls sewing machine.  The spool rod is made of the correct diameter size metal rod and cut to the proper length.  Rod is professionally manufactured by Taipan Precision machine shop.
INSTALLATION:
Because the spool rod hole of the old Singer 20 machine tends to expand over time with use (a problem more acute with the later 50s die cast metal machine), it may be necessary to apply craft glue to the end of the rod for a tight fit.
