    Description

    Rare!
    Unusual!
    One of a kind!
On one of my trips abroad, Portugal to be exact-I found this amazing 1880's button that depicts very clearly a servant boy, removing his master's boots.
The landscape of trees is very clear, as is the master's sword.
This button, which cost me half a fortune, fascinated me and so I embarked on a research mission.
What I found was that in the 1880's, men of wealth distinguished themselves from the poor by using elaborate buttons sewn into their overcoats. Those buttons were beautifully crafted and very few are found in our days.
I got lucky and decided to make a limited edition reproduction of the button in sterling
with enamel, for one of my musum clients in the 1980's.
The project was too costly to pursue and I kept the 3 samples I made.
I am keeping one for myself and am selling
the 2 others, each one of a kind.
What we have here, is a convertible pin/pendant, in sterling with enamel.
    Pin is 1.5" round.
The pendant converter, also in sterling is removable and may be used with your other pins, if the length is right.
Make me a fair offer and call this amazing
    pin/pendant-your own.

    Dear customers,
The United States Postal Services increased prices for shipping and insurance recently.
I am adjusting these prices accordingly.
Please remember that we do not make money off these services-sometimes we actually add money
    from our own pocket.
For international orders we ship Priority Express only because we find it to be the most reliable way
to ship fast, with tracking and insurance. We do not offer any other methods of shipping.
    Thanks for your understanding.
